EP is undoubtedly the most challenging class in PW (no wrong, supporters are the frigging hard-ass characters in ANY game). Here, you're not only asked to heal and buff you're also required to assist in bringing down your opponents. Its' easy healing and attacking on your own but it gets more and more difficult with a party (and in our case, a whole clan on a killing spree). There are various skills you have to learn on the way to becoming the best EP around but other than that I'll only be talking about stats.

First off, since an EP is also classified as one of the mage/nuker types, both damage and healing abilities are dependent on intelligence (the status point you distribute and not the thing your brain is measured with :D ). So the more int you have, the higher the healing percentage and the higher the damage you deal. Thus, pure int is best. Be aware though that this leaves you VERY vulnerable and usually leads to your easy death. This is why some full support EPs ( regardless of faction, some people are confused don't ask me why) opt to increase their con stats or even alter their stats enough to be able to wear a melee-armor set or light armor set. I don't recommend this though, def can easily be substituted with stones and the right equipment(def accessories, etc). Much of your attacks and healing ability also decrease in power when you sacrifice your int for other stats.

So there. There's the basic cap on stats distribution for EP. For skills and how to further your skills with the char, I suggest you get in the game now and start honing them. This char will break you, ultimately, if not make you. :D

here's a build guide i got from http://www.mymmogames.net/forum/perfect-world/1836-elf-priest-builds-skills.html.

This guide is credited to the original author. This guide is posted on nearly every perfect world fan site out there so I'm not too sure who actually organized it but from my own search, this is probably the best elf priest guide there is. I've re-worded it a little better because the original content for the guide contained very poor English.

Elf Priest - TANK BUILD:

This build is for you if you wish to be able to tank and still maintain minor healing abilities which means you'll be sacrificing most of your damage power. But of course, you wouldn't really care about that because it wouldn't be your specialty.

The tanking capability is only limited to magical attacks from enemies because naturally, your physical defense is extremely low, it is highly recommended to use light armor instead of magical armor otherwise you won't last long anyway. It's recommended to go by this stat build:

CON (Health) - Pump everything into this stat for all left-over points
INT (Magical Damage and Defense) - Pump this according to the requirements for armors and weapons
STR (Physical Damage and Defense) - Pump this according to the requirements for armors and weapons

Advantages - Very high HP bar and and much higher physical defense than normal
Dis-Advantages - Very low damage power in terms of using your magical attack skills as well as healing power but you can always pump enough strength to hold physical weapons which will solve this problem, so this really isn't a dis-advantage at all

Elf Priest - PURE DAMAGE BUILD:

This build is for you if you wish to be able to kill enemies within the shortest amount of time meaning you won't get hit as much but when you do, you'll be losing heaps of HP.

In another words, you'll need to be the very careful while playing this build because you could die any minute. You will never be able to fight multiple enemies at once but you will be very welcomed into parties for bosses and party quests. It's recommended to go by this stat build

INT (Magical Damage and Defense) - Pump everything into this stat for all left-over points
STR (Physical Damage and Defense) - Pump this according to the requirements for armors and weapons

Advantages - Very high damage power, you'll be possibly doing the most damage out of every class and every build if you choose this and considering that Elf Priests also have a faster casting rate than Mages, you will be much more damaging than they are
Dis-Advantages - Very low HP bar resulting in common deaths which will really be a pain the butt in the long run since you will be losing alot of experience.

Elf Priest - HYBRID BUILD:

This build is for you if you wish to be able to kill enemies with good damage, have good healing abilities and are able to keep yourself alive so you won't find yourself dead most of the time.

You'll be sacrificing maximum damage and maximum defense since you'll be building on a bit of everything, which sounds like the worst build ever but in the long run, you'll be kicking some serious butt. You'll still be wanted in parties due to your good damage, healing abilities as well as buffs. It's recommended to go by this stat build

INT (Magical Damage and Defense) - Pump everything into this stat for all left-over points
CON (Health) - Pump this stat to 30 and leave it forever. This will give you enough HP to survive on any solo quest/s you come across which is important because if there is no parties around, then you're still capable by yourself
STR (Physical Damage and Defense) - Pump this according to the requirements for armors and weapons

Advantages - Good damage power and good magical defense, very effective all round
Dis-Advantages - Losing about 20%-30% damage, HP bar and magical defense which you could've potentially gained by building on the one of the builds above, but this won't be an issue if you compund your equipment with lots of HP and INT
